LEADERSHIP TEAM

Jon Hewitt is the founder and principal of Leon Lebeniste, a design led fabrication organization specializing in bespoke architectural woodwork and technically complex custom projects.

With a background rooted in making, engineering, and problem solving, Jonathan has built Leon Lebeniste around the belief that the best work happens when design intent, material intelligence, and fabrication logic are developed together. Under his leadership, the Leon Lebeniste has become known for translating ambitious architectural ideas into refined, buildable realities, often operating at the intersection of craft and advanced manufacturing.

Jon works closely with architects, designers, builders, and clients from early concept through execution, bringing a calm, rigorous, and collaborative approach to every project. He is particularly drawn to work that demands precision, experimentation, and a deep understanding of materials, projects where the path forward isn’t obvious, but the outcome matters.

Based in Squamish, British Columbia, Jon balances hands on involvement in the factory with long term strategic vision, continually evolving Leon Lebeniste as both a creative partner and a trusted technical resource for exceptional work.

Konrad is a hands-on executive, engineer, and lifelong maker who thrives on building great teams and turning complex ideas into beautifully executed products. With a career spanning North America, Europe, and Asia, he’s led everything from greenfield manufacturing plants and global service organizations to award-winning product launches and high-growth design teams.

Known for rolling up his sleeves, Konrad blends strategic leadership with a deep respect for craftsmanship, process, and people. He has built and scaled teams across engineering, manufacturing, customer experience, and R&D—often from the ground up—while keeping a sharp focus on quality, collaboration, and measurable results.

Now as CEO of Leon Lebeniste, Konrad brings his varied experience and practical problem-solving mindset to bespoke architectural millwork and furniture, where thoughtful design, precision execution, and strong teams are the foundation of exceptional work.

When not at the shop, he’s likely taking something apart, restoring a vintage car or motorcycle, or finding new ways to make ideas real.

Tom Guthrie is the Financial Controller at Leon Lebeniste. With over a decade of international experience that began in Big 4 advisory firms where he helped organizations rethink performance, structure, and opportunity.

Building on that foundation, Tom moved into controller positions, allowing him to apply strategic insight directly within growing businesses. Tom enjoys building practical systems that bring clarity to complex operations and support teams in making confident, informed decisions.

At Leon Lebeniste, he continues to strengthen internal processes and the financial infrastructure that supports the company’s growth. Outside the office, he fully embraces the local lifestyle, nowboarding in the winter and biking throughout the warmer months.
